ESSAY FOR MARA SCHOLARSHIP INTERVIEW.

Mukadimah,


asssalamualaikum. lama dah blog ini tak dikemas kini. selalu je log in cuma malas nak menaip. al maklum sekarang sibuk nak final exam IB ni haa. interview mara belum lagi kan? maka dengan itu hamba di sini  mengandaikan mesti ramai yang minta tolong pakcik google cari contoh essay. maka dengan itu, inilah dia . tadaaaa ! ok belum lagi.haa memang aku gelak gila2 baca essay zaman dahulu-kala ni. al maklum memang dulu semangat berkobar-kobar nak jadi doktor sampai dalam essay pun tulis 'it is my chilhood dream' . ini sangat keanak-anakkan. siap tulis nak buat INTERNATIONAL BACCALAUREATE dekat kms tak pun kmb. haa amek kau dapat kms buat IB! '' fuhh, sapu peluh menitik kat muka sambil buat latihan mathematics higher level'' . tak apalah terima dengan hati yang terbuka seluas-luasnya. eceyy kms adalah kolej keturunan yg diturunkan oleh suzila hanafi kepada nur hidayah hanafi. dalam essay tulis bajet nak pegi ireland. tidak mengapa. mana-mana pun boleh. maka dengan itu, patik memohon melaka-manipal medical college. 

wahai hadek-hadek sekalian, janganlah bermuram durja andai kata tidak dapat apa yang anda inginkan. konon-konon tulis nak pegi Australia, tiba-tiba offer letter kata India sahaja. well, terpilih untuk dapat scholarship pun kira bersyukurlah anda-anda semua. konon-konon nak buat A-level, tup2 dapat IB dekat kolej mara seremban. hehe maka dengan itu bergembiralah di kms yang comel dan terchenta ini.

First of all,my name is Nur Hidayah Binti Hanafi.I was born in the morning of 6 February 1992 at Kuala Lumpur General Hospital.Basically I have four siblings and I am the youngest one.I have two sisters and a brother.My father,Hanafi Bin Hassan was a police before but now he had retired almost 10 years while my mother is a full time housewife.Eventhough my parents do not earn such a high income,but it can be said that all their kids grew up well and got such a good education either from local universities nor abroad.My eldest sister and my brother graduated from UTM Skudai,Johor in Science Computer course, while my second sister is now studying in Auckland University,New Zealand under Mara scholarship in Chemistry as her major course.

            It took 18 years to create who I am today.I grew up in such a happy and healthy family.Within these years,I have been given the freedom to explore the world in order to satisfy my curiosity towards this wonderful world.I started my primary school in Sekolah Kebangsaan Polis Depot,Kuala Lumpur and then I moved to Muar and continues my study in Sekolah Kebangsaan Bakri Batu 2,Muar.When I was in standard 2,again I moved to Beranang,Selangor where I lived until now.

            My parents believe that knowledge can change someone’s life,so do I.They will make sure I gain much education as I can.As the result,I left my primary school with flying colors when I managed to get 5A’s in UPSR examination,which was my best achievement  at that time.I started my secondary school at Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Khir Johari,Beranang,Selangor as I did not get any place in boarding school.After my parents had spent much on me,I know that I should make them proud of me.And I managed  to score 8A’s in my PMR examination.With the flying colors result,I managed to get a place in one of the well-known SBP,Sains Seri Puteri,Kuala Lumpur which is better than my previous school.Here is different.I have to compete with other brialliant students and this is where the challenge begun.

            To be a good student,academic and co-curicular activities must get along together.Thus,I’d joined several co-curicular activities during my schoolyears.In SESERI,I joined school’s police cadet and I represented my school in marching competition for 2 years consecutively,and we managed to get on the 3^rd place.Joining this marching team gave me such a wonderful experience and teached me to build up my confidence and developed discipline in myself.In addition,I represented my school for 2 years consecutive and I managed to get the 3^rd place.Furthermore,I am also active in sports.When I was in form 4, I joined school’s hockey team and we represented our school in SBP Hockey Championship.

            Eventhough I’d joined co-curicular activities,but I do not take it as the obstacles for me to get consistent results in every examination.I managed to preserved my momentum.I passed my SPM with flying colors.I scored well in my SPM with 10A’s.I try to search as many as possible oppurtunities to pursue my study in medicine and MARA is my choice.

            Medicine is my choice to pursue my study.Some says medicine is such a tough course but I choose to be a doctor since it is my childhood dream.Being a doctor is a noble profession.Moreover none of my family members are doctor nor taking any course related to medicine.So I have think to take International Baccalaureate (IB) as the stepstone for me to jump higher.Thus I have done some research about this programe.International Baccalaureate Diploma Program is two years educational programme for students aged 16 to 19 that aim to provide an internationally accepted qualification for entry into higher education.IB programme is well-recognized by many universities worldwide.I always wanted to do my IB either in Kolej Mara Banting or Kolej Mara Seremban because of its outstanding academic achievements.For instance,both Kolej Mara Banting and Kolej Mara Seremban emerged as one of the best world’s International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme center in 2009 where most of  their students got high CGPA in the examination.Next,I would like to do my degree in medicine in Ireland.Getting place in the one of the 50 best world’s universities is my dream since I started to look forward about medicine.I would like to enter Trinity College of Dublin because the university provides world class facilities and provide conducive environment to the students.I hope with that criteria I can study hard and get high value of CGPA and finally end up with high class degree.

            After I have completed my study,I would like go back to Malaysia and commit myself to the government sector.As a responsible citizen,I will not forget my country and serve to the community.Next I do have a dream to have my own clinic.I would like to open my own clinic in my hometown and specialized for old folks and kids as they need more attention and need more health services.Besides,building up a clinic is also a kind of business.Thus I want to realize one of MARA’s objectives which is to produce more entrepreneur among bumiputera.Being a specialist would give me such a satisfaction in my career.Thus,after about 10 years serving to the community,I would like to pursue my study on cardiology and wider my career to be a cardiologist.

            Putting into conclusion, I hope that MARA will take into consideration to give me this scholarship because I have work so hard up to this point and I have shown all my passion in medicine to be a doctor.With that I end my words with thank you.
